Presuming you have a learner's permit, the law does require that a parent, stepparent, grandparent with power of attorney, or guardian or foster parent, who signed the affidavit of liability, and who holds a valid Colorado driver's license, accompany you. Your parent(s) may allow a driver that is over 21 to supervise you, but those hours do not count toward the total required to obtain an operator's license.
