Driving while drivers license is misplaced.
My son misplaced his drivers license and because of school and work he has not had time to replace it. What are the penalties if he were to be stopped and didn't have his license with him.

Re: Driving while drivers license is misplaced.
The potential charge is No Operators License. This is provided that he has a current driver status meaning that he is not under suspension, revocation or denial.
The penalty is simply a fine unless it is a 2nd charge of the same kind. There are defenses to this charge, such as if there were an emergency.
