Legal Question in Traffic Law in Colorado
After finding out my license was expired and tried to renew it, the DMV told me my license has been suspended for a no insurance ticket where I was suppose to carry an SR22 in 1999. I have since 99 pulled my driving record, issued a new license in Arizona and Colorado in 2007 with no problem. Can they do this after 13 years?

that seems unfair, but the fix is probably easier than fighting the unfairness
just found out when you are eligible (likely now) and do what it takes to get a DL - usually that just means showing proof of insurance and paying the reinstatement fee
