Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Colorado

I have an acquaintance who is seeking remuneration from a sizeable trust fund held in his wife's name at the time of their divorce in 2001. The divorce occured in Florida and the trust fund was held in Michigan. The divorce papers entitled him to 'moneys known or unknown' at the time of the divorce. He would like some assistance in replevining the documents which prove the existence of the trust fund and the divorce accords. Does he still have rights to apportionment of said trust fund if it has been hidden from him for this entire period and which legal advisor would you recommend if he is now resident in Denver, Colorado?

Bernard Greenberg KOKISH & GOLDMANIS, P.C.

Your friend's rights are subject to the laws of the state where the divorce occurred. Please have him contact an attorney specializing in complex, high conflict, multi-state divorce cases. I would recommend Rebecca Goldmanis.
