Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Colorado

Is a California Trust valid in Colorado

My mother is moving to Colorado from California. She is concerned that the Revocable Family Trust that she and my father set up will not be honored in the state of Colorado.

She was told that some states do not honor other state trusts/wills. Is this true for Colorado? If it is true what can she do to protect the trust and not have to pay out thousands more for a new one. Thank you

Without actually reviewing the trust document, it is not possible to say for certain. However, it is likely that your mother's trust will be recognized here.
