Deceased Bank Account

Our daughter recently deceased and we have found out that she didi not list a beneficiary on her bank account. The amount in the account is not more than $2000.00.

Do we need an Affidavite ot Letters Testimentary?

Check with the bank about use of the Small Estate's Affidavit for this account.
