my friend left her house to a friend and all personal posessions to me, also a friend. what is considered personal posessions and does the refrigerator and washing machine go with the house when sold?

You would start by reviewing the specific terms of the Will. Next their is a difference between personal possessions (items that you can pick up) and fixtures, items that used to be moveable and are now attached to real estate.
