Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Colorado

Our uncle lived in Colorado but we live in Illinois and Indiana. He has left the majority of his esate to me and my brother. He was a very financially savy man with great detail in his will. My brother and I have agreed to share the properties. How long would we expect to wait for the estate to be settled?

If there is no one contesting the will, it will be very quick, a matter of months. You need to make sure you have a competent attorney look over any legal documents you are signing if it involves substantial sums of money/assets.
