Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Colorado
''issue by representation''
When a Colorado will states that property goes to a decedent's ''issue by representation'', what does that mean?
For example, if decedent has a living son and children from deceased daughter do the children share in the inheritance?
thanks

Re: ''issue by representation''
The children of the decedent's deceased daughter would split the share that would have gone to the daughter if she had survived.
