Do I have to have an attorney to change names on a deed to a piece of land property with no buildings?

Your question did not provide sufficient information for a definitive answer. My recommendation is that you do hire an attorney to advise you on the preparation of the deeds necessary and appropriate to accomplish the transfer. Beyond that, it may be appropriate to use the attorney to actually prepare the deeds.
