My parents passed away, my sister will not give me my share of the money left to us. What can I do?

I assume your sister is the personal representative under the will. If so, and if the will provided that you are a beneficiary, you will need to hire an attorney to remove her as the representative or for an order for compliance with the will.

You must speak with an attorney as soon as possible.

I would need more information. However, assuming your sister was appointed as PR, you could file a motion to compel distribution or perhaps even contempt of court. You also could try to have her removed as PR, but you may not want to do that since removing the PR can get messy and someone else would then have to step in as PR. I am in Boulder if you want to discuss further - feel free to call me at 303-886-2516. Hope this helps.

There is insufficient information in your question to frame an appropriate answer. To determine your rights, if any, you should visit with an attorney in your area specializing in estates and estate administration.
