Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Colorado

real property inherited via a life estate

My father conveyed two homes to a wife via a life estate. He died in 1994. The wife was to maintain and keep up the properties. Are there conditions under which the children of the deceased can annul, reverse or break the terms of the will and regain the property? The children are named as recepients of the residuary estate.

There are limited circumstances under which the Will may be challenged. These matters can be complicated and quite serious. You are advised to seek the counsel of a qualfiied estate lawyer to assist you with these questions.
