Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Colorado

Setting up a Trust

If I die before my husband, he will get all my money, which is fine. What I don't want is, when he dies, for his children from a previous marriage to get my money that he inherited from me. Would setting up a trust be the answer to this? If so, how would I go about doing this? I have no kids of my own. I currently don't have a will. (I asked this question in a similar way already but had trouble sending it, so I'm not sure if it went through or not.) Thank you for your help.

Re: Setting up a Trust

A trust should accomplish what you seek. I would suggest contacting an elder law attorney in your area to meeet with you and discuss your options in more detail.
