Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Colorado

Simple will requirements

I have been told that in order for my will to be valid in Colorado I must have all of the signatures (including witnesses) notarized. I have also been told that this isn't so. Please advise. Thany you very much.

In Colorado, the signatures need not be notarized. However, in order to take advantage of Colorado's "self proving" provisions, then the signatures must be notarized. In short, a Will that does not have notarized signatures is valid.
