Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Colorado

Terminate a existing will

My father has a will dividing his estate equally between his seven sons. He wants to make one son a co-owner of all his property before he passes on. What becomes of the existing will and does it need to be nullified.

Re: Terminate a existing will

Your father needs to visit with his own estate planning attorney to ensure that his wishes are documented and are carried out.

He should not proceed based on any advice that you obtain for him over the internet.

Your father should go and visit with an experienced estate attorney in his community for appropriate legal advice.
