Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Colorado

My uncle recently passed away naming my aunt his beneficiary. My uncle has 2 other sisters, one of them being my mother. He called my mother approximately 4 months ago telling her that he was changing everything to her name not my aunt's anymore. His best friend of 25 years was at his side in the hospital and told my aunt (who was complaining about having to be there) that he changed everything to my mothers name. My aunt and uncle work together so she went to see if that was true. Apparently he never changed it. What I want to know is if my mother and my other aunt have any right to the money. Can it be split 3 ways or does my aunt get it all...

The answer to this question is complicated because it is dependent on so many factors. I recommend your Mother visit with an attorney experienced with estates to determine her rights and course of action.
