If i am injured on the job can i take a month off with pay before my work comp benefits start?

Workman's compensation is designed to pay for you recovery of on the job accidents. If your doctors suggest taking time off from work you can recover lost wages through worker's compensation and any other medical treatment. Additionally, it doesn't seem to be the most desirable path to wait a month. You need to report and provide notice quickly to claim benefits under worker's compensation.
