Legal Question in Administrative Law in Connecticut
interstate law
I have a bench warrent out for me in NJ for contempt of court. I have moved to CT and want to get a drivers licence. Will this be checked on, and/or prevent me from switching my NJ licence to CT?

Warrants are a basis for refusing or suspending a driver's license. Best to clear up your NJ warrant rather than spend every day wondering whether the Warrant Squad in your town has you on the list today.

yeah, its possible. Why not just take care of the situation? If you get an attorney to help you with this, you may not even have to come back to the state.
My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss the case.
