Legal Question in Banking Law in Connecticut
Title
My husband obtained a loan for a vehicle in 2000. He is in default at this time but we just found out that DMV had put the title under my name (I am not on the loan) but the bank as the lien holder. Can they take the truck from me or is this a nonsecured loan now? I do plan on getting the payments caught up

Re: Title
Couldn't advise you w/o seeing loan docs, but if the bank is a secured party, the bank is a secured party. (IE, they're not going to free up title until the loan is PAID IN FULL.)
Call or e=mail for further asistance.
