Amount of time living in state before you can file
Is it true that you must live in a state for a certain time period before you can file bankruptcy and if so what do you do in the mean time?

You must live in the jurisdiction you are filing in for the greater portion of the 180 days (6 months) prior to filing. Please call me at 860-527-2245 to discuss your specific situation.
