Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Connecticut
Creditor suing my husband
We declared bankruptcy over 2 years ago and a creditor has filed against my husband. The lawyer in this case has dragged this out for over 2 years now without doing anything - is there a statute of limitations on creditors or can they harrass us indefinately?

I presume that your husband did not file a bankruptcy petition. If he signed a credit card application or used the card he may be liable. The Statute of Limitations in CT is 6 years from the last use or payment.
