Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Connecticut

Filing Again after 7 years

A friend of mine filed bankruptcy 7 years ago. They are in a mess again. Can they file from the date 7 years ago that they filed or does it have to be 7 years from the Discharge date? Thank you

there should be only 90 days or so between the date of filing and the discharge so it really shouldnt make much difference. Wait the 7 years from discharge to file again.
