Connecticut is a judicial foreclosure state. Perhaps you may want to consider other alternatives to foreclosure, such as, a short sale. You may have anywhere from six to eight months before there is a final notice to vacate the premises. This, however, is an estimate and not a final opinion on your particular situation.
