Legal Question in Business Law in Connecticut
After 3 1/2 yeas of service, I was laid off from a business development job in November 2009. Since then, my former employer hired another person to perform business development, and I recently went to work for a competitor. It was brought to my attention (and I confirmed) that my name is still listed on my former employers website as the sales contact. It has been 10 months....is there a legal violation here?

Not at this point. However, you should contact your former employer in writing (certified mail, return reciept) and request you be promptly removed from their website, and that if they fail to do so in a timely manner, you will be forced to take legal action.
