Legal Question in Business Law in Connecticut
I was co-owner of a 2-person LLc. My partner and I paid an attorney to draw up documents transferring the business to our wives. We all signed the document. I recently asked the attorney for a copy of the document and he refused saying I was no longer a partner in the business. As I signed the document, don't I have a right to get a copy of it?

I believe you do have a right to get a copy of it. Why don't you ask your wife for a copy?
