Legal Question in Business Law in Connecticut
A family member asked my husband to do a job for them and submit an invoice because the insurance company would pay for it. he submitted the invoice and they kept the check. Is that insurance fraud? Bait and switch?

Why doesn't your husband call the insurance company and tell them what happened. If they think it's fraud they will take care of it. Your husband should submit the invoice to the insurance company and tell them that the insured never gave him the money. He also can sue the family member for the money.
