Legal Question in Business Law in Connecticut
Judgements
If someone has a judgement against them, and they do nothing about it, what can happen? How long is that judgement enforceable?
What if they move out of state ?

Re: Judgements
20-25 years, depending on the type of proceeding brought by the judgment holder. He/she can move to execute the judgment against your assets, your pay, or your bank account. I'm not sure moving out of state will change much, other than it makes it more difficult to enforce the judgment against you.
