Legal Question in Business Law in Connecticut
Hi, I live in Connecticut and applied, on line, for a business loan with a broker in Utah. There was an upfront fee of $2500 which I paid. The application process seems to be predatory. If I start a legal action to recover my $2500, will the hearings be held in CT ot Utah?

That is an interesting question. You need to first look at the "contract" that you signed to see if it dictates which state has jurisdiction and secondly, which state law would apply.
Then, the next issue is, does that "contract" dictate jurisdiction. I'm not so sure it does, especially if you are challenging the "agreement."
