Legal Question in Business Law in Connecticut
A local Sushi restaurant enforces a policy by which teenagers and young patrons receive a 15% tip automatically added to their bill. Adults are not subject to the same 15% gratuity, because the restaurant claims that adults are less likely to "not tip and run out" than adolescents are. This policy is also not printed on the menu, and the restaurant does not charge a gratuity for parties of six or more- only to teenagers, regardless of the size of their group. Is this practice legal?

I'm not sure, but it honestly doesn't sound like the kind of thing worth fighting over or getting worked up about.
