Legal Question in Business Law in Connecticut

I was a member of a 2 person LLC. I applied for a credit card in the name of the LLC but personally signed for the card. In January of 2008 myself and the other member signed over our respective ownership in the LLC to our respective spouses. The agreement included all assets and liabilities In July of 2008 my wife filed for divorce. I encouraged her to sign over her part of the business to the other party as she had no interest in it. Through this entire time the business paid the monthly credit card bill. I just received a statement from the credit card company showing a balance of $4,500. Apparently no payments were made on the balance since July of 2008. Am I stuck with this bill or can I go after the members of the LLC? The LLC was dissolved in December of 2008.

Any attorney will say this is not a simple bulletin board question. A review of various documents and a person consultation to discuss is required. Consult with an attorney in your area for specifics.
