Legal Question in Business Law in Connecticut
Temporary Agency
I went to a Temp Agency to have them help me find a job. They had me go to an interview and after the interview the agency called and said the client wanted to hire me. And they were going to confirm the pay of between $13.00 and $14.00. I then received a call the next day directly from the client and they said they wanted me to work for them but the Agency's fee was too high. The client, nor I, signed any contract with the Agency. I also declined a position that I got on my own to take this position. What should I do?

Re: Temporary Agency
Well, what you are legally allowed to do and what you are ethically willing to do might not be the same thing. Do you want to work for an employer who hires a company and then does not want to pay them?
It sounds like you are asking for ethical advice, since you asked "what should I do?" and not "Am I bound to the agency?" If you are asking for ethical advice, you already know the answer.
