I have someone who's writing a book and wants to create a contract to give some of the proceeds to some nonprofits. How would she go about doing that?

As a Franchise Attorney I can say the following. Whenever a contract is an issue, and especially one that involves giving some proceeds to nonprofits, this is not a do-it-yourself project. Your friend needs to consult with a good business or franchise attorney in her area for specific advice.
