Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Connecticut
I fell off of my school bus about six months ago. I was getting off of the bus and all of the stairs were slippery and I missed every step and fell on my back and neck. I was on my friends bus and the driver didn't even ask who I was or anything. That night I had to visit the emergency room. I severely hurt my back and neck and was unable to really move for a week. I had to go to a chiropractor which became to expensive and then I had sever pain which kept getting worse throughout my entire body to the point where I could barely do much of what I normally used to do. I really would just go to school and then lay down. I was only 16when it happened, now 17 and I went to a rheumatologist to get the pain diagnosed and they said the fall caused amplified pain syndrome that I now have to be medicated for. Is it too late for me to sue the bus company? Is there even a chance of winning anything in it? I have been in terrible pain from this for 6 months now.

There is a two year statute of limitations from the time at which this incident happened to commence a law suit.
I strongly advise that you talk to an attorney to further determine what your legal rights are.
