Displying Pictures on Internet - Right To Privacy

Our high school graduating class has a website dedicated to keeping our alumni up-to-date about information about reunions and such.

We recently held a class reunion where only adults were present. The function was held at a rented facility. To attend, alumni were sent an invitation and they had to RSVP and pay a small amount to guarantee a head-count for the reunion. Disposable cameras were placed on every table for the attendees to use to capture moments during the reunion.

What are the Connecticut/Internet laws that govern whether or not we can display those images retrieved from the cameras at the reunion on our alumni website? What about pictures displayed from alumni cameras that attended the event?

I'm not a CT attorney but in general you can put them up and take any down upon request. It was a public event. Don't put up any that you know the people shown would not want up and you probably won't get any requests to take them down. Next time, get a written waiver from each attendee.
