Legal Question in Technology Law in Connecticut
Privacy Violation
My girlfriend and I broke up and she kept my laptop for a long time before I got it back. While she had it she hired someone to hack into it to view my files. She never had my password or my permission to do this. I got it back and the password has been changed and she would not give it to me. Did she break the law? What can I do?

Re: Privacy Violation
there are many things before we go to the asked questions . Whether there is really such hacking done by your girlfriend only or it may be somebody else . Secondly you can file criminal case for hacking your password . But be careful and upon concrete evidence and upon confirmation only involve your girlfriend in the matter or it may be somebody else
