Legal Question in Consumer Law in Connecticut
Had a Capital One Card with insurance protection for death disability and unemployment. In 2007 i suffered severe injuries due to a car accident which rendered my permenantly disabled and unable to return to work. After filling out all forms for activation of insurance and getting the approval for benefits to be paid to the card, the problems started quickly. From late three month bulk payments which incurred charges of late fees and over limit fees that they were not responsible for, gaps of coverage, and ultimately losing of file then stopping payment. Capital one tried outsourcing my accountto collections then attorneys. After the attorneys understood the insurance debaclthey quickly returned my file to capital one saying they were'nt interested. So what steps do i take now?

If you do not believe the insurance company provided the benefits you were entitled to then you should speak to a lawyer about filing suit.
