Legal Question in Consumer Law in Connecticut
My childs daycare changed teachers without letting us know, in fact, mislead us about the teachers absence for 10 days saying she was 'sick'. We were never given the 'new' teachers name, background, experience etc. Once we found out the teacher was permananet we removed our children from the facility feeling betrayed and uncomfortable leaving our child with a stranger. We have been sent to collections because we signed a contract saying we needed to give 30 days notice if we planned to leave the center. Do we have a right to remove our children having been lied to and feeling unsafe leaving our child with a complete stranger or should we just pay $1200?

I would need to know more about the terms of the "contract."
