Is this legal?
i JUST bought a new car and trade in my 2000 older one.First,they offered one deal that i agreed on.When i came home and took a second look at the paperwork i notice certain discrepancies that i was not aware off.first,the cash $ 27136,original MRSP 23795.When i called the dealer the man said:Oh! you did not have enough''positive equity''so i HAD to raise the price of car to get you the loan approve.Second,they added optional items without even asking me.Is this legal?

It's a little late to complain about the sales price and the loan/security lien that you signed before reading and understanding what you were signing, but, you may be able to get some satification through the dealers and repairers division of the motor vehicle department, complaints section. The number is in the blue pages of the telephone book, but you may be bounced around to different extensions. You will have to put your complaint in writing and go though the process. From your question, I don't know the time periods involved or if it cost you more to by than the origional agreement, so my response to you question is limited to the facts you stated. You have a claim that can be made but I don't know what damages you suffered. You sould sit down with an attorney and get a consultation with the facts and costs in hand. Tom Noonan
