Legal Question in Consumer Law in Connecticut
the local newspaper has been delivered for the past 2 years without anyone charging me.Yesterday the paperboy quit and decided to come collect for the past years a total of $570.00.I offered him $100 bucks as I canceled the paper 3 years ago but it kept being delivered so i dont think i should pay the full amount since i never recieved a bill for 2 years. They are want to take me to small claims court and say i have to pay their lawyer fees if i lose.I called the newspaper company and they said it was the carriers fault for not collecting and he did the same thing to 7 other customers.Should I pay or go to court?

I'm curious as to how old he is.
Even though you cancelled it three years ago, you accepted the delivery anyway. You benefitted from the delivery and your question does not state that you tried to stop the delivery for three years.
I think it could go either way. If I were the magistrate in small claims court my call would be to charge you.
