Legal Question in Consumer Law in Connecticut

We purchased a house , 2007. Just found out the previous owner didn't have a permit to build an outside deck, Now we have to have it inspected, any problems we have to take care of it. What are my legal options

I can't comment on what your legal options are without more information, like why are you having it inspected and by who? Secondly, you don't even know if there will be any problems and who is making you repair them.
