Legal Question in Consumer Law in Connecticut

I put a deposit down on a vehicle at a dealership. The dealership now backed out of the deal because they had to repair the vehicle and they stated they would not take a loss on the sale so they would not sell it to me at the agreed upon price. Can the dealer back out after a deposit was made?

Sounds like kind of a suspicious transaction on the part of the dealer. Did you receive the deposit back? I would be curious to hear more details.
