Legal Question in Consumer Law in Connecticut
I have a question about wether or not I have a case with GM or not. I have a 2007 Saturn Outlook. I purchased it GM certified, 39,000 miles, on 8/21/2010. Since then it has had its transmission replaced, power locks, power gate, 2nd row seat track, mock sensor, front seat rocks they refuse to fix it "its not broke enough", rear defogger 3 attempt to fix and its sit broke, and the worst is that it has been in the shop 6 times for transmission related failure. Each time I am without my vehicle for a full week. The shop provided me with a loaner (which is the size of a shoe box) I have an SUV for a reason. Its Drive Train warranty is going to expire in september 2012. After that GM said they will no longer pay for damages to the transmission despite the fact that it is in the shop regularly for the transmission. There is something very wrong with my vehicle and they will not take responsibility for it. Each time the tranny fails its is in a dangerous spot (of course) and I have my baby with me. If it was old I would just deal with it but it has 60,000 miles on it! I would trade it in but the trade in value is what I currently owe, I will break even. The 6500 I put down in case will be gone meaning I cant buy another comparable vehicle, so I am stuck with it.

I don't know if you have a case or not by just reading your question, but assuming you had all of these problems and you had a warranty then you probably will not get the relief you are seeking without suing them. You should do so before the warranty runs out.
