I have an FDCPA case against an abusive collection company, how much should I be prepared to pay a lawyer as a retainer to take my case?

Re: Retainer?
Absolutely nothing. It is a fee shifting statute. I take these cases at absolutely no charge, no cost charge and no attorney fee charge, no charge at all to the client. Please feel free to contact me 203.380.8189 - Max

It all depends on the lawyer and the firm. Some firms are more reasonable than others. The point is, there is no magic number. If you need further help, you can email me at [email protected].
