Legal Question in Consumer Law in Connecticut
Return Policy
I made a $1100 down payment on a car. Did not sign any contract. Was not informed about the return policy. Dealer offered to return only $200 of the down payment. Said ''Im not gunna give you your deposit back so you can go buy a car from another dealership.''

Nice guy. You can try to call the attorney general's office in Hartford, however, they have so much work I'm not sure they will do anything. Unfortunately, you will have to sue him in small claims court to get your money back.
