Legal Question in Consumer Law in Connecticut
store credits
I purchased a dress from a store on
5/25/2005 and returned on
5/26/2005. The store gave me a
store credit. I went in on 1/15/09 to
use the store credit and they told me
it had expired. It does state at the
bottom of the receipt that store
credits are good for one year. do I
have any recourse? (this was a store
credit, NOT a gift card)
