Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Connecticut
A collection agency opened a Small Claims Court case against an old debt of mine. The judgment showed "EXECUTION - FINANCIAL INSTITUTION ISSUED (NATURAL PERSON)" - which I know means they can access my bank accounts to collect the money owed. However, after being unemployed for a year (I just started a new job), there hasn't been any money in the account.
Today, I noticed it said "EXECUTION RETURNED UNSATISFIED", and below that, it said "EXECUTION - WAGE ISSUED".
Does this mean they can no longer access my bank accounts and will try to attach my wages?
Can they access my checking account? I don't have any savings accounts.

It means that they tried to attach your bank account but were unsuccessful. They are trying to attach your wages. You are supposed to receive notice of the attempt to attach. (from your employer). When that occurs you need to fill out the appropriate forms and attend the court hearing to object.
