Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Connecticut

I was taken to court over some money i owed a credit card company . They got a court order and took the little bit of money I had in my savings which wasnt even enough to cover the full amount. However i realized that a few months ago i opened a savings account for my daughter and now im scared they took that money too. The only reason my name is in her account is because she is a minor but is not my money. Can they touch that account?

If the account is only in your name, then yes they can take money from it. If the account is your name "in trust" for your daughter, they can not.
