Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Connecticut

My elderly father has a large credit card debt. I have power of attorney and make minimun payments each month on the internet. Will I be responsible for this debt when he dies? My name or any other personal information is not on the account - just my email address. I do have my name under his on his checking account from which payments are made.
