My wife has medical debt in her name and never paid it. They are now suing me for her bills. Can they sue me for her medical debt when we no longer live together and its in her name ?

Unless there is more to this, you can't be sued for her debt. If a debt collector is harassing you on a debt you don't owe, you may have recourse under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
