Legal Question in Criminal Law in Connecticut

Hi- My 17and one half yr. old son has been court ordered to enter a 28-30 rehab

program on advice of his psychotherepist. Arms Acres needs to know the boy

consents. My son keeps on refusing to do this by his next court date of Nov. 19.

What will the consequences be then? He will also have turned 18 by then.

If he is fighting the courts order, he will likely be found to be in contempt. He may be fined and/ or taken and forced into rehab through the penal system. Please contact us with any further questions.
